California Proposed Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Amendments

This letter provides recommendations to the California Air Resources Board in response to their Proposed Amendments to the Low Carbon Fuel Standard. In the letter, CLF describes how implementing the Proposed Amendments, specifically avoided methane crediting, poses a threat to public health and deepens environmental injustices by incentivizing and further entrenching the industrial food animal production model.
