Comments on Waters of the United States

In this written comment, CLF provided recommendations to the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the definition of “Waters of the United States,” which establishes the scope of jurisdiction of the Clean Water Act. The comment focused on agricultural sources of water pollution and environmental justice considerations from industrial food animal production facilities.
