Letter to Department of Labor on Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings

Informed by CLF’s report Essential and In Crisis: A Review of the Public Health Threats Facing Farmworkers in the US, this comment provided recommendations to the Department of Labor as they develop a federal standard to prevent heat illnesses and injuries in occupational settings. CLF focused on key health considerations pertinent to farmworkers working in outdoor agricultural settings.
