Vanessa Coffman

Vanessa Coffman, MS, is a fourth year PhD student in Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology within the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering. She received her MS in Global Public Health and the Environment from the University of California Berkeley in 2011. Her dissertation research examines the impact of industrial hog farming on the respiratory health of swine workers in North Carolina and how distance from hog operations affects the respiratory health of community members. Her adviser is Christopher Heaney, PhD.
