Lisa Lagasse

Lisa Lagasse, MHS, is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society. She is conducting research exploring media representations of mandatory Country of Origin Label (COOL). Examining print news media from seven countries, Lisa is investigating the framing of COOL across varying sociopolitical contexts. Lisa’s research also explores public perceptions of the policy through an analysis of social media discussions about COOL. She received a BA in Psychology from Simmons College, and an MHS from the Bloomberg School. Her academic advisor is Dr. Katherine Clegg Smith, associate professor in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society.
