Linnea Laestadius

Linnea Laestadius, MPP, is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the Department of Health Policy and Management. She is examining efforts undertaken by non-governmental organizations in the U.S., Canada, and Sweden to raise public awareness of the connection between meat consumption and climate change. She is also seeking to understand what factors may be preventing further action on this issue. Linnea received a BA in Economics from American University and a Master of Public Policy from George Washington University. Her advisor is Dr. Shannon Frattaroli, assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management.
