Danielle Edwards

Danielle Edwards, JD, MS is a fifth year doctoral student in the Bioethics & Health Policy track of the Department of Health Policy & Management. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Slippery Rock University, a Master of Science degree in human genetics from Sarah Lawrence College, and a law degree from Georgetown University. Danielle’s research interests include issues arising from factory farming and industrial food production and using nudge techniques to encourage healthier and more sustainable eating habits. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, Danielle spent over a decade practicing law in Washington, DC and served as Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee during the 111th Congress. Her advisor is Dr. Jeffrey Kahn.
