Darcy Milburn

111 Market Place, Suite 840, Baltimore MD 21202

Senior Program Coordinator

As Program Coordinator for the Communications and Public Affairs teams at CLF, Darcy works to translate the Center’s research on food, public health and the environment into materials that can be easily used by journalists, educators, communities and policymakers. You can check out her latest posts for CLF on: FacebookTwitter and Instagram!

Prior to joining CLF, Darcy worked for six years at Human Rights Watch, an international NGO, where she contributed to several global research and advocacy efforts on business’ impacts on human rights and the environment. Through her work experiences and service as a Union Shop Steward, she has cultivated particular interests in health advocacy, environmental justice, workers’ rights and consumer protection. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to explore all these interests at CLF through the lens of the food system.

Darcy received her BA in International Relations with concentrations in global public health and security & conflict studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Growing up in New England and Southeast Alaska gave her a deep love of tide-pools and their denizens. She speaks French, some Wolof, and is working on learning Spanish.
