Sarah Rodman

Sarah Rodman, MPH, is a fifth-year doctoral student in the Department of Health Policy and Management. Sarah is interested in contributing to a food system that is just, from production to consumption. She believes that good policies are critical to that goal. Since completing her MPH in 2009, Sarah has worked on several food-related public health issues, including Baltimore City food access, urban agriculture in Cuba, seafood import inspection policies, and multiple aspects of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Sarah’s dissertation work will focus on US policies impacting food chain workers. Her advisor is Dr. Lainie Rutkow, assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management.
