Ryan Lee

Ryan Lee, MHS, is a fourth year doctoral student in the Department of Health, Behavior, and Society. He earned a BA from the University of Minnesota and a MHS in Social Factors at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Ryan is primarily interested understanding the connections between food security and sustainable food production and distribution methods. His dissertation explores the potential for regional food systems to improve food security in low-income communities in the Northeast United States. Ryan’s doctoral advisor is Dr. Janice Bowie, Associate Professor in the Department of Health, Behavior, and Society.
