Kiauna Dorsey

111 Market Place, Suite 840, Baltimore MD 21202

Budget Specialist

Kiauna joined the Center for a Livable Future in 2019 as a budget specialist, building on skills acquired as a patient access specialist while at the Johns Hopkins call center at Keswick. She also has prior experience as a medical office coordinator and an executive assistant. Previous employers include Wexford Health Sources and Corizon.

At the Center, Kiauna plays a critical role in processing invoices, travel reimbursements, making purchase orders, and using SAP. For these tasks and others, her attention to detail, her sense of precision and her organizational skills are a valuable asset.

A Baltimore native and graduate of Baltimore City College (“Go Knights!) and Coppin State College, she’s glad to be working behind the scenes in support of educating the community about food system issues. Implementing positive change through education is part of what attracted her to the Center. “I like being a part of the work that people don’t see,” she says. At the office, you can find Kiauna drinking water all day, and at home, she makes home-cooked meals for her family, where Taco Tuesdays are a big hit.
